YOUR TASKS
Overall responsibilities and duties:
Develops maintains and improves manufacturing procedures documentation tools fixtures equipment and production line on all products.
Responsible for planning designing developing and maintaining manufacturing Work Instructions.
Work closely with contract manufacturers and sub-tier suppliers to design characterize and qualify high capability processes using process risk assessments (PFMEA) process flows control plans process validations and product acceptance criteria.
Supports DFM (design for manufacturing)/DFA (design for assembly).
Provide technical oversight for manufacturing production performance including product yield and cycle time management and scrap rate control.
Identify the root cause of manufacturing process and product non-conformities. Identify and implement necessary actions to correct and prevent recurrence though the corrective and preventative action process.
Reviews ECRs and leads a cross-functional team to execute ECOs into production
Lead and implement data-driven improvements within the manufacturing operation for product design assembly processes and supply chain management.
Initiates and/or approves all necessary changes in product design tooling methods processes and any documentation that affects the manufacturability of an item or process including Process Validation protocols.
Be capable to estimate tool size furthermore can select the proper IMM based on the tool size and the IMM information from technical and cost perspective.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical Engineering / Technical (Polytechnic)
More than 3 years of experience in injection manufacturing engineering
Automotive related industries experience; experience in automotive lighting is preferred
Experience in project management and coordination
Be able to create a P-FMEA
Masters the transfer process to the production department (full run process)
Knowledge in the field of design for assembly
Knowledge in the field of layout planning and assembly technology
Good oral and written English
Communication & Logical thinking
