ABOUT THE JOB
Provide academic leadership for the China programs guiding dual-degree development and integration with partner universities to ensure programs meet institutional and accreditation standards.
Oversee curriculum and program management including review of curricula teaching schedules and implementation of innovative methodologies to ensure relevancy to both institutional standards and Chinese market demands.
Lead program evaluation efforts working with the Assessment team on learning outcomes accreditation documentation and continuous quality improvement. Prepare regular reports on program performance and growth.
Complete administrative duties including budget management resource allocation and ensuring availability of academic resources. Serve on university committees and participate in partner university-wide events.
Manage faculty supervision and development participating in recruitment training and retention of high-quality faculty. Conduct classroom observations manage performance and encourage professional development and scholarship.
Drive student engagement and support monitoring retention and satisfaction addressing academic issues and collaborating with partner university staff to foster a supportive learning environment.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with Chinese partners alumni and community organizations. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify internship job placement and research opportunities.



Requirements
Profile Requirements
Masters degree in education business computer science or technology from an accredited institution.
At least 5 years of teaching experience in higher education preferably at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in academic administration including faculty supervision and curriculum development.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese with special attention to cross-cultural communication.
Strong knowledge of program assessment techniques and a proven ability to apply data-informed judgment to resolve complex academic and faculty issues.
Excellent interpersonal leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel up to 30% within China and internationally (including to the U.S.) to support program oversight and partnership development.
A student-centric and customer-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to student success retention and satisfaction.







Required Skills:

Profile Requirements Speaks fluent Japanese; Must be a First language English speaker. Bachelors degree or above in English or Education or any related field. 5 years experience in a teaching role. The ability to compile lesson plans efficiently. The ability to execute lessons with meaning in a fun and engaging manner. Basic computer skills. Great communication skills and the ability to work with individuals.
