Product Development Engineer

New product design to complete the product portfolio.
Existing product enhancements to improve customer experience.
Maintain engineering system and team work.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Design and develop new products that demonstrate contributed to customers or material cost reduction base on Professional Tool practices and the capabilities in China under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
• Internal communication with US product engineering teams procurement teams sales/marketing teams vendors standards institutions and testing laboratories for new product development.
• Develop 3D CAD proven models 2D CAD parts and assembly drawings or Electrical Diagram. Prepare engineering drawings specifications and test plans to release the new products to manufacturing with satisfy product requirements.
• Analyze design of products from an engineers standpoint including but not limited to structure strength and integrity reliability efficiency material specification manufacturability safety certification and testing.
• Work with sourcing team as well as quality team on supplier development prototype making testing and qualification.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study
• 5 years plus of experience in product design and development in related industries
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Computer Literate (MS Office with excellent knowledge of Excel)
• Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
