Principal Field Application Engineer MPU

NXP is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to support automotive applications processors and related system solutions. This role focuses on demand creation customer design-in support and successful project execution for key customers.

Responsibilities:

• Promote NXP MPU products and vertical solutions in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
• Act as the main technical interface for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support customer product development based on NXPs advanced automotive processors.
• Provide technical guidance on software hardware system architecture and issue resolution.
• Drive technical engagement design-in activities and customer project success.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with high-performance Arm multi-core platforms.
• Strong knowledge of RTOS and embedded software development.
• Hands-on experience with Linux programming kernel development and device drivers.
• Knowledge of NPU and edge AI technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with embedded hardware and high-speed interfaces such as SGMII XFI and PCIe.
• Excellent internal and external communication skills.
• Strong learning ability and ownership mindset.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
