Principal Application Engineer-Actran

Position Description
Work closely with the Sales team to identify and scope opportunities for Cadence acoustic simulation solutions and related product technologies.
Plan execute and manage key technical evaluations and benchmark with existing and potential customers to ensure successful adoption.
Trian ramp-up and accompany customer project.
Conduct basic and advanced trainings presentations and demos as necessary.
Providing technical expertise to drive clients needs and address queries which need expert involvement.
Aligned closely with R&D Sales and Marketing teams on customer requirements and contribute to product improvement and technology/direction innovation.
Position Requirements
Masters degree is essential and 5 years of experience in acoustic simulation or related fields with the following capabilities:
o Strong understanding of acoustic theory and simulation methodologies (including aeroacoustics structural acoustics and fluid acoustics).
o Eager to learn new technologies and willing to promote new technologies to customers.
o Experience and proficiency with Actran and familiar with leading acoustic simulation tools such as VA One COMSOL and Fidelity Charles with direct simulations etc.
o Familiarity with acoustic-structural coupling analysis NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) studies and acoustic optimization.
o Experience in acoustic performance prediction frequency spectrum analysis and system-level validation.
o Knowledge of Multiphysics coupling (e.g. acoustics with structural thermal and fluid domains).
o Scripting skills (Python Shell etc.) for process automation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong teamwork and customer engagement skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
