Position: People Relations Partner
Location: Shanghai China
Scope: All legal entities of China
About the Role We are looking for a proactive and collaborative People Relations (PR) Partner. By collaborating with People & Culture (P&C) colleagues you will provide trusted solutions to elevate the employee experience empower business leaders to support and drive organizational changes and ensure a fair inclusive and psychologically safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Management: Work together with other P&C colleagues and act as a sparring partner to drive organizational transformation and business changes.
- Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Consult on complex performance and health issues; lead conflict prevention and resolution; and address general employee queries regarding working relationships.
- Policy & Compliance: Review HR contracts/agreements design and evaluate PR policies and manage communications with employee representative bodies (e.g. labor unions) and relevant government authorities.
- Investigations & Corrective Actions: Conduct workplace incident investigations provide compliance-based corrective recommendations and prepare for potential labor dispute litigation.
- Enablement & Insights: Deliver PR-related training and leverage data and technology to generate insights that inform management decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree or above in Law Business or related fields.
- 8 years of working experience in multinational companies including at least 3 years dedicated to Employee/Labor Relations. Experience in a healthcare commercial organization is highly preferred.
- Fluent English skills (reading writing listening speaking); experience in designing and drafting corporate-level policies is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of relevant employment legislation with proven success in leading organizational transformations or reorganizations.
- Outstanding consultation influencing and negotiation skills; an enterprise mindset with the ability to properly handle highly sensitive employee relations crises.
- Passionate about building a diverse and inclusive work culture and enhancing psychological safety and a sense of belonging within the team.
