Org Development Manager, D&S Asia Strategy and Excellence team

We are seeking an Org Development Manager to join the D&S Asia Strategy & Excellence team. This role owns organizational development (communications strategic planning culture initiatives) and office program management (workspace planning and project delivery for D&S offices in Shanghai).
You will drive programs that shape how our organization grows communicates and operates from managing org-wide communications and strategic planning cadences to ensuring our physical workspaces enable collaboration and innovation. This is a high-visibility cross-functional role requiring strong program management stakeholder management and the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.

Key job responsibilities
Organizational Development
Organizational Communications: Manage regular cadence of townhalls newsletters and org-wide communications aligned with D&S Asia strategy.
Strategic Planning Coordination: Drive OP1/OP2 planning processes manage timelines templates cross-team inputs and ensure on-time delivery.
Culture & Engagement: Design and execute programs that strengthen team culture recognition and cross-site collaboration.

Office Program Management
Office Project Delivery: Manage SHA office/lab projects (renovation expansion fit-out) from design through construction to move-in.
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as D&S liaison to GREF JLL general contractors and other vendors.
Space Planning & Optimization: Manage seat allocation floor planning and space utilization for headcount growth.
Budget & Vendor Management: Track project budgets review VOs manage BMO costs and negotiate with vendors.
Compliance & Operations: Support lease activities work permits fire safety compliance and building regulations.

About the team
The D&S Asia Strategy & Excellence team drives strategic planning organizational development and operational excellence for Amazons Devices & Services business across Asia. We operate at the intersection of business strategy people development and workplace experience enabling D&S Asias leaders and teams to do their best work.
We are a high-impact team where every member owns significant programs end-to-end. We value ownership bias for action and earning trust through consistent delivery to senior stakeholders across multiple countries and business units.

- Bachelors degree or above
- Experience in project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management
- 5 years of program management experience with at least 2 years in organizational development HR programs employee engagement or workplace/facilities management
- Experience managing multiple parallel programs with cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive results across teams

- Experience managing office/workplace projects (construction renovation relocations)
- Experience in multinational technology companies
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience working with senior leadership (Director level)
- Knowledge of corporate real estate processes (GREF IWMS space planning tools)
- Budget management experience
- Data-driven approach to measuring program impact and employee satisfaction
