NPI Project Coordinator
Job Summary
The primary role of the Project Coordinator is the delivery of NPI projects covering phases from DEVELOP to CLOSE-OUT. This role can work across both the Validate and Commercialize lanes in PPM organization contributing to the overall business objectives and strategic addition to NPI projects this role is expected to coordinate plant transfer value engineering or other post-launch projects in support of margin improvement and excellence initiatives.
The Project Coordinator collaborates closely with relevant internal functions (e.g. Technology Commercial Operations Legal and Finance) ensuring cross-functional activities are aligned for each project meeting all defined requirements within agreed-upon scope and timeframe allocated budget and risk appetite. This role is external facing and involves close interactions with customers canners and substrate suppliers.
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously ensuring requirements scope timelines budget and risk appetite are well-defined.
Develop comprehensive project plans including detailed timelines milestones critical paths and risk mitigation strategies.
Facilitate project kick-off meetings and periodic project team meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment across the functions.
Coordinate resolution of risks and issues and facilitate decision-making via coordination with cross-functions and/or escalating through the PPM organisation as necessary.
Foster strong working relationships with external stakeholders (e.g. customers canners and substrate suppliers) and cross-functional teams (e.g. Technology Commercial Operations Legal and Finance) to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
Monitor project progress against established plans identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
Track key project metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders including senior management through monthly status reports and nbusiness reviews.
Ensure adherence to internal process quality standards and industry regulations (e.g. IATF 16949).
Coordinate problem-solving and root cause analysis to address project challenges.
Identify initiate and drive simplification to NPI portfolio and processes as well as utilization of project management tools such as KeyedIn and PowerBI.
Qualifications/ knowledge/ experience
BS degree in Science Engineering or related fields.
1 years of working experience in NPI work function or relevant industrial experience desired.
Fluent in English communication.
Satisfactory communication presentation organization collaboration and influencing skills.
Ability to make decisions resolve issues and navigate challenges effectively.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time across multiple projects efficiently.
Ability to identify simplification opportunities.
Experience of applying project management methodologies and tools.
Experience of working globally across different functions with multi-cultural teams.
