Your Position:
Major Purpose
Duties
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety quality efficiency cost and ergonomic improvements for welding process.
- Establish and continuous improvement welding process routings SOE layout tooling OMS for PDP projects and currents operations.
- Provides support and troubleshooting for current operations. Investigates gathers and analyzes data and implement solutions.
- Support capacity planning and productivity improvement activities in weld department.
Required
- Welding Engineering or Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of process and industrial engineering practices systems and tools.
- Knowledge of welding manufacturing processes tooling fixture design.
- Be able to read welding print and familiar with GD&T
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools such as (Creo AutoCAD).
Desired
- Good knowledge and experience of arc welding and welding related defects.
- Be able to summarize and analyze the production data and resolve production issues on site.
- Skillfully use a variety of office software such as office and AutoCAD & Creo.
- Be able to develop welding technical processes welding fixture concept design material flow optimization etc.
- Strong sense of 5S & IE and Lean quality management or team management skill is a plus.
Education
- Bachelors degree or above Major in mechanical engineering or welding engineering.
- 5 or more years of experience in a Welding Engineer role within the construction machinery industry.
- Fluent English ability in speaking writing reading and listening.
