Master Data Administrator

The Master Data Administrator is in charge of management of both purchased produced and sold Products (Materials) as well as Business Partners (Suppliers & Customers) in APAC.

They validate initialisation of new creations into SAP S4HANA via Master Data Governance (MDG) and garanties quality of the global databases for entities that are active in SAP S/4HANA.

With the help of Master Data Governance they ensure quality of the single source of truth and respect of naming convention rules as well as content and quality of mandatory shared fields.

In charge of a qualitative maintenance of the Master Data life cycles; they will also initiate and maintain a related detailed documentation (MDG user guides per profiles) as new rollouts bring complementary rules.

Key tasks & responsibilities :

Data Creation : :

• Ensure no creation of duplicates

• Prepare data extensions to new plants

• Garanties respect of naming conventions both for purchased or sold products and Business Partners

• Garanties quality of the Dun & Bradstreet numbers (D&B) VAT codes and registration numbers

• When necessary files missing D&B maintaining an internal list of Imerys references

In Run Mode

• In link with the business realises regular sanity checks to ensure continuity of the data quality

• Is responsible for the central cross plants status

• Follows up approval workflow progress until full creation of the objects in S4HANA

• Makes mass data changes with MDG when possible or organizes the mass changes in collaboration with technical teams

• Provides training and support to other approvers of the MDG flows

• Maintains detailed support documentation explaining detailed business rules processes and table contents to facilitate daily administration as well as future deployments.

• Gives instructions for access right to MDG.

For project

• In regular contact with the Opera deployment teams to capture new adjustments to be taken into consideration in MDG

• Keeps the user documentation for products and business partners up to date with new plant specifics

Expected Profile

Dynamic position - Good relationship skills - Structured approach and keen of understanding details - Affinity with information systems (SAP especially) - Excel Proficiency - Empowered in the role - Occasional travel

Education and Experience requirements

Experience : Junior or second experience

Languages : Fluent professional English is mandatory
