Job Summary

We are looking for a strong technical and transformational leader to manage high-volume machining operations in a fully automated Industry 4.0 manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on end-to-end machining operations digital transformation closed-loop manufacturing systems and people capability development with the objective of driving towards high-speed zero-defect and low direct labor dependency operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Leadership

  • Lead CNC machining operations for high-volume automotive components
  • Drive KPIs: Safety Quality (CPK/PPM) OEE Cost Delivery
  • Ensure stable scalable and efficient production performance

2. Technical & Machining Expertise

  • Manage CNC programming tooling strategy and precision control
  • Drive cycle time optimization and process standardization
  • Implement advanced machining automation (robotic cells inline inspection)

3. Industry 4.0 & Digital Transformation

  • Deploy MES IoT AI-driven monitoring and predictive maintenance
  • Establish closed-loop manufacturing using machine signal integration
  • Enable data-driven decision-making to improve OEE

4. Automation & Smart Factory Development

  • Build fully automated machining lines (robotics AGV/AMR systems)
  • Drive roadmap towards zero direct labor dependency

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma and cost reduction initiatives
  • Improve cycle time yield and scrap reduction
  • Implement KPI-driven management systems

6. People Transformation

  • Develop multi-skilled workforce aligned with automation and digital systems
  • Build leadership pipeline and technical training programs
  • Drive ownership culture and continuous improvement mindset

7. NPI & Capacity Expansion

  • Support machining process industrialization and new program launches
  • Lead line setup commissioning and process validation (PPAP PFMEA)
  • Ensure readiness for high-volume production ramp-up

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors/masters in mechanical / manufacturing engineering
  • 1218 years in automotive component manufacturing
  • Strong expertise in CNC machining and high-volume operations
  • Proven experience in Industry 4.0 automation and digital transformation
  • Strong technical depth with hands-on machining knowledge
  • Proven transformation leadership capability
  • Ability to drive automation digitalization and people development in parallel
