Job Summary
Core Responsibility:
- Lead the development optimization and scaling of FATP (Final Assembly Test and Pack) manufacturing processes for advanced electro mechanics products.
- Review develop and continuously improve SOPs fixture designs production workflows assembly processes and manufacturing documentation. Enforce the SOP implementation FA/CA analysis and other manufacturing disciplines in the production line.
- Serve as a hands-on engineering leader on the factory floor providing daily support to production teams and driving rapid resolution of manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering Quality Operations and Supply Chain teams to support product industrialization NPI activities and production ramp.
- Drive process improvements that enhance product quality manufacturing efficiency throughput and scalability.
- Troubleshoot complex assembly and test challenges and implement sustainable solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Lead capacity expansion projects to enable the business objectives with activities such as UPH improvement line qualifications personnel training etc.
- Operate with a very high level of independence ownership and execution speed.
- Proactively drive progress and with little direction from management.
Key Deliverables:
- Establish and continuously improve SOPs fixtures production flow and final assembly processes.
- Optimized production flows SOPs fixtures and tooling that improve operational efficiency and product quality.
- Rapid identification and resolution of manufacturing assembly and test-related issues.
- Achievement of production readiness yield quality and throughput targets during ramp and mass production.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement practical sustainable corrective actions.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration that enables timely execution of project milestones.
- Continuous manufacturing improvements that support aggressive schedules and business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineering FATP Engineering or related experience.
- Strong technical expertise in assembly processes production flow design manufacturing process development testing fixture design and process optimization.
- Proven experience supporting NPI manufacturing ramp-up and high-volume production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting root cause analysis and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with complex electromechanical products and products containing moving parts.
- Experience with motor-driven products such as robotic vacuums drones E-bikes is preferred; robotics experience is advantageous but not required.
- Comfortable working closely with manufacturing teams on the production floor each day.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently drive execution with urgency and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience working with a U.S. or global technology company is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
