Job responsibilities:
Manage activities of the plants manufacturing operations which include but not limited to brazing blanking machining tack welding welding painting etc.
Manage the production area ensuring the achievement of assigned production plans goals and KPIs (finance logistics quality etc.) and the technical sustainability.
Optimize manufacturing processes in terms of costs efficiency quality and adherence to production plans using KPIs LEAN Six Sigma VSM CI etc. and drive appropriate change initiatives.
Ensure the availability and value of the infrastructure and production equipment with a main focus on TPM respectively associated preventing/reacting measures.
Review and adjust the assigned production area (machines layout processes etc.) in consideration of both current operational needs as well as future strategic direction and innovation.
Serve as the interface to controlling materials management process engineering and quality assurance.
Provide leadership guidance and training to assigned staff.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant labor and environmental regulations and actively promote EHS related topics.
Demonstrate the Kennametal Cultural Beliefs through daily interactions and inspire others to do the same.

Job requirements:
Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related majors.
At least 10 years of production management experience within the manufacturing industry.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Excellent knowledge in EHS LEAN Six Sigma CI and TPM.
Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
High problem-solving competence and ability to work in a team.
