Job Description
Manager Capability Enhancement60%
Framework Development and Iteration
- Design and continuously refine Takeda Chinas manager capability framework based on business strategy portfolio priorities and market dynamics with clearly defined critical capabilities and development standards.
- Identify and define the critical capabilities required for managers including business planning team coaching execution and cross-functional collaboration and translate them into clear and actionable development pathways.
- Build differentiated capability progression frameworks for different manager populations including new managers experienced managers and high-potential managers to enable tiered and targeted development.
Manager Development Program Design and Implementation
Design and deliver end-to-end manager development programs such as New Manager 90-Day programs and DM Leadership Programs embedding real business scenarios into the learning journey and applying a learn-and-apply approach to strengthen capability transfer and business impact.
Manager Capability Assessment and Development
Establish a comprehensive manager assessment system including Assessment Centers behavioral assessments and performance-linked indicators; design assessment tools such as case studies simulations and interviews and build a closed-loop process of assessment feedback development and re-assessment.
Manager Coaching and Internal Faculty System Development
Build a manager-led coaching system develop a manager-based Trainer Pool / Internal Faculty model and drive the adoption of a manager as coach culture across the organization.
Best Practice Codification and Scalable Replication
Capture and codify the proven practices of high-performing teams and outstanding managers into standardized cases tools and learning solutions and establish cross-BU mechanisms for best-practice sharing and scaling to amplify organizational impact.
Sales Empowerment Excellence40%
Sales Empowerment System Building
Build and continuously optimize an integrated learning and enablement system across different target populations including curriculum architecture learning pathways and development mechanisms ensuring strong alignment with capability models and evolving business needs.
Training Quality Control and Assessment System
Support internal capability-building initiatives by establishing delivery standards program certification criteria and quality evaluation mechanisms; drive consistent implementation of quality standards across BUs while demonstrating learning value and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management
Work closely with key stakeholders across BU Marketing Medical and HRBP teams to ensure learning initiatives are tightly aligned with business priorities and lead or support the planning and execution of large-scale cross-functional enablement projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
Level of Education
Bachelors degree and above
Working Experience in Relevant Field
- Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales training L&D or OD-related roles
- At least 3 years of experience of DM 3 years in manager capability development and/or leadership development programs
- Experience in managing large-scale projects is preferred
- Experience in competency model development and assessment center design is preferred

- Business Acumen: Demonstrates the ability to closely align learning initiatives with business priorities and outcomes.
- System Design Capability: Strong capability in designing competency frameworks curriculum architecture and assessment systems.
