Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define and refine system requirements specifications and architecture collaborating closely with product management clinical software hardware and regulatory teams.
  • Drive the decomposition of system requirements into sub-system and component specifications ensuring traceability and comprehensive coverage.
  • Oversee and guide the system integration verification and validation processes including test plan development execution and defect resolution.
  • Conduct technical reviews and assessments of design documents test reports and other project deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the product development lifecycle.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering or product development.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading the development and launch of complex medical devices or healthcare systems.
  • Strong understanding of system engineering principles and methodologies (e.g. V-model requirements management risk analysis).
  • Expertise in defining system architectures interfaces and protocols.
  • Experience with medical device regulations (e.g. FDA CE NMPA) and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 13485).
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS Polarion) and/or system modeling tools (e.g. SysML UML).
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
