Position Overview
The ESL Teacher plans prepares and delivers instructional lessons to students aged 3 to 15 across kindergarten primary and middle school levels. This role involves participating in extracurricular events social activities and departmental meetings. Teachers work within a supportive network and report to the academic team with less than 18 teaching hours per week allowing ample time for preparation and professional development.

Days: 5 working days per week (specific schedule discussed during placement)
Time schedule: Standard school hours (varies by partner school)
Break details: Less than 18 teaching hours per week with planning time included

Class size: Standard class sizes based on school placement
Details: Students aged 3-6 (Kindergarten) 7-13 (Primary) and 13-15 (Middle School)

o Lead ESL Teacher
o Chinese Co-Teacher
o Teaching Assistant (depending on school)
Key Responsibilities
Plan prepare and deliver instructional lessons that facilitate active learning experiences with clearly established objectives

Be familiar with and use relevant technology to support instruction and present lessons
Participate in extracurricular events social activities and teacher departmental meetings as required
Assess student progress and provide feedback to support language development
Collaborate with Chinese co-teachers to enhance student learning outcomes

Native level English speaker only
Bachelors degree in English Education or a relevant subject area
120-hour TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification required
Above 2 years ESL teaching experience required
Clean health and criminal background to obtain a Chinese work visa
Independent and outgoing personality with a commitment to professional growth
Eligible for legal Z work visa in China
