Position Overview
The Expat Homeroom Teacher will plan and teach lessons aligned with the kindergartens IB standards and curriculum. The teacher will work alongside a Chinese homeroom teacher to manage the classroom ensure safety and foster childrens self-regulation skills. Responsibilities include preparing classroom displays communicating with parents writing reports documenting daily stories monitoring child development conducting parent-teacher meetings and contributing to school activities and professional development days. Occasional weekend engagements may be required.

7:45 AM to 4:45 PM

Key Responsibilities
Deliver quality lessons planned and taught in alignment with the kindergartens standards and curriculum
Collaborate with co-teachers working alongside the Chinese homeroom teacher to manage the classroom ensure safety and foster childrens self-regulation skills
Engage with the environment by preparing classroom displays communicating with parents writing reports and documenting daily stories
Monitor child development by assessing progress conducting parent-teacher meetings and providing guidance for holistic growth
Participate actively by contributing to school activities professional development days and events including occasional weekend engagements

Passionate about early childhood education
Caring and patient with children
Bachelors degree or higher; Education major preferred
Teaching certification is highly desirable
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience with children aged 2 to 6 years
Experience in an IB school is an advantage

Salary: 25000 - 30000 RMB per month pre-tax
Retention bonus earned upon contract renewal
