This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets including animal nutrition and health bioindustrial road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
The Forklift Operator I will operate and drive industrial forklifts requiring basic skills and frequent this role you will ensure material handling and storage procedures are followed to meet all safety and regulatory policies.
- Operate a forklift to move uniform items such as pallets within production and warehouse areas.
- Operate industrial forklift to load and unload from surface or low heights.
- Pull loads from production lines based on frequent guidance and perform quality checks of wrapping and labels.
- Support other production or warehouse duties under direct guidance.
- Operate other equipment such as electric or manual hand truck and scanning technology and enter records into computerized system.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including lock in and out procedures and maintains safe and clean work environment.
