Edge AI Field Application Engineer Intern

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and debug Edge AI applications and proof-of-concept (POC) projects based on NXP processors AI accelerators and related software platforms.
• Investigate emerging AI technologies including Generative AI LLMs AI agents and related tools and evaluate their potential use in team workflows. Explore prototype and implement AI-based tools and applications to improve productivity and efficiency within the team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Artificial Intelligence Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in AI technologies particularly Edge AI. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks AI models or AI development tools.
• Programming experience and proficiency in C C and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux and embedded SW/HW development is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to explore and learn new technologies is a plus
• Fluent English communication skills in reading writing listening and speaking is a plus
