The hotel is the gateway to your historical exploration of the capital city such as the Great Wall Tiananmen Square Forbidden City Temple of Heaven hutongs Houhai Bar Street Jing Shan Qianmen and Beihai Park.
Guests have direct access from the hotel to China World Mall and Guomao subway lines 1 and 10 interchange station. China World Mall has indoor skating rinks foreign-language bookstores cinemas and over 90 restaurants covering the gamut of urban lifestyle interests trendy cuisine shopping entertainment and other fun activities. It is also about 35-minute drive from Beijing Capital International Airport.

We are looking for Director of Events Management.

As a Director of Events Management we rely on you to:

• Develop and oversee the banquet events (e.g. weddings conferences galas corporate events) analyzing market demand to price events competitively and maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with F&B team to ensure seamless food and beverage service for events activity.
• Creates a cohesive team culture and work environment to drive teams cooperation in achieving departmental goals.
• Be knowledgeable of market trends and competitor offerings to identify potential opportunities.
• Monitor event budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability while meeting client expectations.

We are looking for someone who:

• 6 years of proven experience in event management with at least 2 years in a similar capacity in a 5-star international hotel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Awareness of current trends in event technology sustainability practices and guest experience innovation.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to last-minute changes.
• Client-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
