Job Summary
Position Summary
The Database Operator (DBO) is responsible for maintaining and enhancing IQVIAs healthcare reference databases including Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) and related healthcare entities. The role requires conducting detailed research validating information from multiple sources updating databases and ensuring the accuracy completeness and integrity of OneKey data assets.
This role plays a critical part in supporting IQVIAs data quality standards and delivering reliable information to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Database Maintenance & Data Validation
- Update and maintain OneKey reference databases and associated data assets.
- Execute daily data maintenance activities following established procedures and quality standards.
- Validate analyze and cross-reference information from multiple trusted sources.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and completeness across all assigned records.
- Perform match-and-merge activities and support data cleansing initiatives.
- Support ad hoc database refresh and enrichment projects.
Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct detailed web-based research using healthcare government professional association and publicly available sources.
- Analyze discrepancies and determine appropriate actions following established business rules.
- Investigate and resolve reference data queries from stakeholders.
- Escalate data quality issues to supervisors as needed and recommend corrective actions.
Quality & Productivity
- Follow production schedules and service level commitments.
- Participate in quality control activities and audit reviews.
- Maintain productivity and quality targets while managing fluctuating workloads.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with local and offshore teams to ensure smooth production delivery.
- Participate in training documentation and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives where applicable.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and operational excellence programs.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma Associate Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience
- 1 year of experience in data management database maintenance research administrative operations healthcare operations or related fields.
- Experience working with structured data and quality-controlled environments preferred.
Required Skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform detailed web-based research.
- Ability to validate and reconcile information from multiple sources.

Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare pharmaceutical life sciences or allied health background.
- Experience working in a Japanese-language business environment.
- Experience working in shared service or offshore delivery environments.
- Exposure to AI-assisted research or automation tools.
Languages Required
- Japanese: More than Business-level proficiency in speaking reading and writing.
Preferred
- English: Business level communication capability

- 调查并解决利益相关方提出的参考数据问题
- 根据需要上报数据质量问题并提出改进建议

任职资格
教育背景
- 大专高中学历或同等工作经验
- 本科学历优先
工作经验
- 1年以上数据管理数据库维护调研分析行政运营医疗健康运营或相关领域经验
- 有结构化数据处理及质量管理环境工作经验者优先
