This position is located in Shenzhen Guangdong Province China. Shenzhen is a vibrant and modern city known for its booming technology industry and close proximity to Hong Kong.

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with a 2-year contract. The contract is renewable upon mutual agreement.

Job Description:

As a Computer Science Teacher you will be responsible for teaching middle school students the fundamentals of computer science and coding. You will develop and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities and projects to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will also be responsible for assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach computer science and coding to middle school students

- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the schools curriculum

- Incorporate hands-on activities and projects to enhance student learning

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students

- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development

- Participate in school events and activities as required

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in computer science and coding education

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

- Teaching certification or license in Computer Science or related subject

- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in computer science or coding

- Experience teaching middle school students preferred

- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt to a new culture and work in a diverse environment

- Fluency in English (Chinese language skills are a plus)
