Communication Specialist

As Communication Specialist you will: 

• Coordinate and execute communication tasks and projects that support the development of the business. 

• Create and activate content in relevant channels to reach the right target groups. 

• Make strategic messages clear simple and understandable to various target groups through inspiring communication using visualisation layout and storytelling. 

• Secure the IKEA tone of voice by providing relevant support guidelines tools and templates. 

• Participate and contribute to relevant networks and cross-functional assignments. 

• Act as an ambassador and role model for the IKEA Brand culture and values. 

Qualifications :

About you 

• You have relevant education in communication or equivalent work experience of at least 3 years in a similar role in a multinational company. 

• You are passionate and proven experience in creating simple communication solutions that support the business and engage people. 

• You understand communication planning channels and stakeholder needs. 

• You have strong written and spoken communication skills and can communicate in an inspiring way adapting to the tone of voice of the company. 

• You have practical skills in presentation design and visual concepts. Experience with graphic design and layout using Adobe Creative Cloud particularly Illustrator along with basic knowledge of Photoshop for basic photo editing and image adjustments is a plus. 

• You are a hands-on structured and service-minded team player who builds trust works well with diverse groups and takes responsibility for meeting deadlines. 

• You are fluent in written and spoken English. 

• You are motivated to share and live the IKEA culture and values.

• It is an advantage if you also have 

• Experience with content management systems web publishing and common communication platforms. 

• A keen interest and curiosity in exploring technical solutions that improve communication and collaboration such as AI meeting platforms SharePoint and similar tools.
