Job Overview
Provide legal advice and services to support the organizations business in assigned region in one or more of the following areas: contract law employment law commercial law regulatory or compliance. May also coordinate legal matters handled by outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Draft review and negotiate commercial contracts; provide end-to-end legal support to business teams.

• Advise Commercial Operations on contracting risk allocation and daily legal queries.

• Counsel on IP technology privacy data protection and commercial compliance.

• Build and refine legal templates playbooks and workflows to boost efficiency.

• Collaborate with Compliance Privacy Procurement and other functions on cross-team initiatives.

• Drive AI adoption in APAC legal with focus on practical solutions for China.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent; PRC National Legal Professional Qualification is required; PRC lawyer license or foreign equivalent bar admission accepted is a plus.

• 35 years legal experience from a reputable firm and/or in-house team.

• Sound knowledge of commercial contracting IP tech and privacy/compliance.

• Process-minded; experience improving legal templates or workflows.

• Hands-on understanding of AI tools in legal work.

• Strong communication and cross-team trust-building skills.
