We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Software Engineering (AI Platform Infrastructure).

Principal responsibilities

Cloud DevOps and automation

• Design and operate resilient compliant multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS Azure GCP and Alibaba Cloud.
• Containerize and deploy services on Kubernetes; design Helm charts and GitOps workflows.
• Implement infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for automated build test deploy and rollback.
• Set up observability autoscaling and cost optimization.

Full-stack application development

• Develop backend services in Python Java or Go.
• Build secure scalable microservices and event-driven components; integrate with internal and third-party systems.
• Implement frontend/admin tooling for configuration monitoring and governance of AI prompt systems.

AI/LLM experience

• AI search and retrieval: semantic/vector search hybrid search and ranking.
• LLMs and prompt engineering/orchestration using LangChain or similar.
• RAG pipelines embeddings and vector databases.
• Open-source LLMs and serving stacks (e.g. Llama Mistral Qwen; vLLM TGI Ollama) alongside hosted services (e.g. Azure OpenAI Bedrock).
• Agent frameworks and tool-use (agentic workflows)

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java.
• Proven experience in AI and machine learning preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) technologies including LangChain.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
