Associate Account Commercial Executive

Essential Functions:

• Set up new customers in SAP based on Zendesk ticket submitted by Sales
• Complete supplier forms submitted by new customers
• Enter approved partner pricing discounts into Partner Portal as promotional code
• Manage customer price agreements in Salesforce
• Ensure clean and timely booking of customer purchase orders including:
  • Proactively audit open quotations for pre-booking accuracy
  • Receive incoming customer purchase orders from Order Management Specialist
  • Review interpret and reconcile customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and work with Sales to resolve any discrepancies (units products pricing)
  • Attach customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and submit back to Order Management Specialist
• Create quotes in the following exception-based circumstances:
  • In response to RFQs for known BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers
  • In response to received purchase orders that are not associated with an existing quote for BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers
  • To facilitate fast-turn opportunities requiring expedited / UPS RED / next day shipment
  • Exercise judgment in interpreting and implementing operating practices to resolve exceptions.
• Act as liaison between Order Management Sales and customers regarding order status when in-country assistance is required
• Assist in providing user experience support in Salesforce

Minimum education and work experience required:

• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years professional experience supporting Sales organization
• Previous experience in Inside Sales a plus
