Definitive job description should be reviewed and discussed between you and your Liability Management Trading SpecialistWhy JoinAs an Asset Liability Management Trading Specialist at OCBC youll play a critical role in managing the banks balance sheet and driving business growth. Youll work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement trading strategies that optimize returns while minimizing risk. Its a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of analytical skills market knowledge and business you succeedTo succeed in this role youll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of market trends and regulatory requirements. Youll work closely with the Asset Liability Management team to develop and implement trading strategies that align with the banks overall business objectives. Youll also need to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including risk management and treasury teams to ensure that trading activities are properly risk-managed and aligned with the banks overall risk you doYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:- Developing and implementing trading strategies to optimize returns and minimize risk- Analyzing market trends and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities and risks- Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders including risk management and treasury teams- Collaborating with the Asset Liability Management team to develop and implement balance sheet management strategies- Monitoring and reporting on trading performance and risk metricsWho you are- A degree in finance economics or a related field- At least 5 years of experience in trading or asset liability management- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and outside the box- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders- Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments including fixed income currencies and commodities- Proficient in trading systems and risk management toolsWho we areAs Singapores longest established bank we have been dedicated to enabling individuals and businesses to achieve their aspirations since 1932.
