Applied Catalysts Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

Technical service of responsible applications to contribute direct sales as well as bridging to repeat sale.

• Execute onsite technical service jobs in catalyst loading/start-up/troubleshooting responsible for the results.
• Propose value added technical proposal document for sales based on the sales opportunities.
• Analyse and check catalyst operating data and propose recommendations/advice/catalyst performance report to customers. Provide technical training for the customers to ensure the correct use of the catalyst.
• Execute technical communication with customers either at customer site or online.
• Execute frequent communication or onsite visit with customers to collect catalyst performance parameters and establish technical relationship with customers.
• Supervise / Operate / Manage the loading machines / tools during technical service.
• Shares know-how proactively to support Clariants capabilities. Provide technical training for sales and team members. Support to improve/identify the understanding of value proposition of responsible applications.
• Liaise with Sales Technology advisor Product Manager and R&D.
• Contribute to compilation and maintenance of Design Guidelines and Operating Manual.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher.
• At least 7 years experience in catalyst related industry (e.g. chemical plant engineering company catalyst research institute etc.
• Proficient in data analysis skill.
• Proficient in excel MS-office.
• Good English skills (CET-4).
