About the role
You will play a pivotal role in shaping Haleons growth agenda across APAC and China driving strategic choices and enterprise-wide initiatives that accelerate business performance and long-term value creation. Partnering closely with the APAC Leadership Team China Leadership Team and cross-functional stakeholders you will help define and execute enterprise-wide strategic priorities address critical business challenges and strengthen organisational capabilities. The role sits within the APAC Portfolio & Performance Management team while maintaining a strong focus on supporting key strategic priorities in China.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with APAC and China senior leadership teams to address complex strategic commercial and organisational challenges translating insights into actionable recommendations and driving enterprise-wide execution and impact.
- Lead cross-category growth platform initiatives across APAC and China identifying new growth opportunities and accelerating strategic priorities that support long-term business performance and transformation.
- Orchestrate the annual strategic planning process and leadership operating rhythm for China ensuring alignment on strategic priorities resource allocation critical decisions and execution against business objectives.
- Drive innovation excellence and end-to-end pipeline delivery in China enhancing innovation strategy governance resource prioritisation and cross-functional execution to maximise growth impact.
- Drive organisational capability building and operating model evolution in China enhancing effectiveness through process optimisation governance improvements and cross-functional ways-of-working transformation.
- Support inorganic growth opportunities assessment through market assessment target evaluation commercial due diligence and business case development.
Why you
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years experience in strategy consulting corporate strategy business transformation commercial strategy or marketing strategy including at least 5 years in relevant strategic leadership roles.
- Prior experience in a leading strategy consulting firm and/or a strategic leadership position within a multinational FMCG consumer health healthcare life sciences or related organization.
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex cross-functional strategic initiatives from problem definition and strategic assessment through execution and value realisation.
- Strong business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and measurable business outcomes.
- Proven ability to engage influence and build credibility with senior executives and stakeholders across multiple functions markets and organisational levels.
- Experience shaping strategic decisions in dynamic and ambiguous environments balancing long-term growth opportunities with near-term business priorities.
- Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to drive alignment and execution across diverse teams and priorities.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience including leading high-performing teams coaching talent and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
