Job Summary
Reporting to the General Manager the Service Consultant is responsible for supporting and promoting customer service products and offerings aimed at increasing customer satisfaction driven by analysis and evaluation of operational data within the Customer Service department. The Service Consultant will focus on identifying and developing opportunities to strengthen existing customer relationships as well as working cross-functionally with sales service technical support and parts operations to provide exceptional customer service. The Service Consultant will also maintain and support customers with digital programs offered.
- Handling of inquiries that need additional measures (e.g. modification kits spare parts kits additionally needed parts for major components ) from quotation to order completion
- Coordination and organization of offers to ensure customer satisfaction and to gain the related orders
- Follow-up of quotations and evaluation of reasons for orders not received
- Analysis of customers market and competition in regards to customer needs and sales potential.
- Pro-active offering of customer service products based on analysis and customer needs and gaining related orders.
- Responsibility for implementing customer service campaigns
- Identify opportunities for consultative sales (creating customer surveys)
- Maintain active licenses for digital solution products and actively promote digital solution products to customers
- Liaise between different functions of the business to ensure seamless and orderly processing of customer requests
- Customer Service or equivalent experience
- Administrative skills in heavy equipment industry construction or a distributor environment
- MS Office proficiency service reporting/time entry and invoicing software
- Methodical analytical organized and detail oriented
- Due diligence and promotion of a Health and Safety culture
- Dynamic team player with a positive attitude
- Technical knowledge of heavy equipment cranes and construction equipment is considered an asset
- Bilingual English - French is considered an asset
