Works Manager Ferries

In this role youll:

• You will lead the planning development and delivery of regional ferry facilities programs and service operations to meet performance targets and optimise resource utilisation.

• You will drive safe efficient and commercially focused delivery of ferry works programs in a complex operational and stakeholder environment.

• You will manage teams contracts and stakeholder relationships to deliver projects on time within scope cost and quality supporting community and customer outcomes.

About you:

• Extensive experience in engineering works planning budgeting program delivery and managing a direct control workforce with strong knowledge of WHS environmental and quality requirements.

• Demonstrated maritime industry experience and a sound understanding of maritime operations asset maintenance / management and service delivery.

• Proven experience managing operational teams contractors and resources in a complex safety-critical environment.

• Youre recognised as an ethical and collaborative leader skilled at stakeholder engagement contract management and communicating complex information clearly.

• You bring experience leading multidisciplinary teams and ferry or infrastructure works delivery to achieve efficient safe and customer-focused outcomes.

A four-year engineering degree from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification is required
