Job Summary
Job Summary of the Welder: The Fabrication Welder will be responsible for welding large and small weldments. Must be able to lay out parts and fabricate as needed read prints and pass a weld test. Produce all parts as per blueprint requirements in a timely manner to meet production schedule. To keep work area clean and organized. This is a first shift position and pay is commensurate with experience. Subject to a drug screening and background check.
Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Welder:
- 2 years of experience in welding in a Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to utilize various measurement tools including but not limited to square angle square calipers and tape measure.
- Use of wrenches air tools handheld grinders overhead cranes steel handling and frequent lifting required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand / or be on your feet all day.
