Job Summary

Provide exceptional brand experiences for our wealth members or a prospecting member with householded assets of $25K or less by utilizing knowledge to deliver value-added advice and financial planning services to members. Act as primary resource for account openings. Maintain a high profile and image as the financial institution of choice in the community of the branch by establishing member client and non-member client relationships and business contacts. Complete all administrative duties accurately and as per required timelines first time right.

 

Differentiating Accountabilities

 

  • Build value-added relationships with both members and non-members to promote PenFinancial as a financial institute of choice with the community. Act as the primary resource for opening new small wealth accounts and effectively match appropriate services to member client needs. Keep a watch for opportunities to promote other member services to support member success. Proactively contact members at critical stages or other pertinent thresholds (financial age etc.).  Administer and provide input into the business referral programs.

 

  • Provide individualized financial planning and budgeting advice to members. As required make referrals to appropriate staff. Lead the small wealth account opening process.

 

  • Complete all administrative duties accurately and as per required timelines first time right including preparing instructions in support of complete accurate and compliant wealth documentation. Ensure that appropriate documents are processed that are associated with the sale of savings and registered and non-registered investment products transfers or withdrawals. Support compliant accounts.

 

  • Ensure overall exceptional brand experiences for our members. Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with area personnel and Investment Solutions Specialists.

 

  • Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications :

  • 3 to 5 years progressive experience within a credit union or a bank
  • Mutual Funds license which includes completion of the following:  Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC)

 

 

Target Salary: $65060

Salary Range: $61233 - $76541

Salary will be determined based on skills experience education and other qualifications relevant to this position.
