RANGE: $28.78- $31.78
General Purpose:
The Warehouse ProductionWorker will assist in the warehouse and flour production processing areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out a variety of assignedphysically demanding duties in any department of the Company under thedirection of a more experienced employee and/or a supervisor.
Assists with the loading of Companyand common carrier trucks trailers (including bulk flour and bulk feed) aswell as rail cars and/or containers in an accurate and efficient manner.
Assists in receiving stock into thewarehouse from flour packing lines outside carriers and Company trucks.
Maintains required sanitarystandards in assigned working areas. Reportssanitation issues to the Supervisor.
Corrects and cleans up anyspills of product in the product transfer system being used (plug-ups brokenlines etc.).
Assists with maintainingmachinery in operating condition in co-operation with Maintenance Department.
Advises Supervisor of anyproblems or concerns.
Fills out and directs paperworkaccurately.
Assists in warehouse duties asrequired ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
Operates company vehicles in asafe and efficient manner.
Is aware of critical control pointsas they relate to product liability.
Responsible for compliance withCanada Labour Occupational Health and Safety requirements and company safetystandards.
Follow all Good ManufacturingPractices (GMPs) while performing job duties and tasks.
Performs all other relatedduties and assignments including training as required.
Qualifications:
Grade12 or equivalent.
Self-motivatedteam player with a strong work ethic.
Knowledgeof inventory management software is an asset.
Experiencewith Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset.
Abilityto work independently as well as with cross departmental team members.
Availablefor shift work as well as work on weekends holidays and call outs as required.
Forkliftexperience is an asset.
