Warehouse Generalist

Job Summary: The Warehouse Generalist is responsible for picking and putting away productDay Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-FridayDuties and Responsibilities ReceiverVerify accuracy of incoming shipments in the Warehouse Management System against packing slips and physically confirm Prepare receiving reports vendor discrepancy reports and other administrative information as record receiving data including information relating to damaged products and purchase order discrepancies send to purchasing and accounting Rectify receiving problems working with the purchasing department and other internal or external SKU labels if they arent on garments Place totes and skids in the correct put away location for the duties as assignedDuties and Responsibilities Material Handler Picking order items using the Order Picker Raymond Reach or Walkie truck; IEQs POs COs and BOMs. Bring picked totes or skids to correct department or location Receiving order items; using RF scanner scan items to determine product location and place item into stock using the forkliftReprinting product labels when needed Accurately transferring of stock items physically and in the system to create additional warehouse space Stacking skids when new shipments come inComplete forklift safety check inspection before operatingComplete cycle counts as requested General warehousing; cleaning around the facilityOther duties as assignedExperience and EducationValid forklift certification 1-2 years of forklift experience (Order Picker Raymond Reach Walkie)1 year of shipping and receiving experienceKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesGeneral warehouse knowledgeKnowledge of WMS systems Knowledge of hand scanners Communication ability to speak clearly in English Basic computer literacy Operating equipment (RF Scanners Pump Truck Dollies and Machine Wrapper for Skids) Attention to Detail and accuracy for data to do basic mathematicsAbility to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision Problem Solving Time management ability to perform multiple tasks to deliver simultaneouslyAbility to follow safety regulationsWorking Conditions Physical Effort and EnvironmentAbility to lift 50lbsStanding/Walking for 8 hours
