This position has a term length of one year plus one day from the date of hire.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus Edmonton.

The Virtual Recruitment Specialist enhances international virtual recruitment communications in order to increase the number of qualified international students choosing to study at the University of Alberta.

Choosing where to study is a life-changing decision for international students and their families and you will play an important role in helping them choose the right path at the U of A.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the university you will enhance existing and implement new virtual activities and campaigns targeted at international students throughout the recruitment cycle.

You will play a key role in attracting high achieving international students to study at the U of A and growing our international student numbers.



Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements virtual international recruitment strategy.
  • Plans organizes and executes virtual events.
  • Connects with faculty members to organize and implement faculty specific virtual events targeted at international students.
  • Reviews and enhances email communications flow to prospective international students.
  • Use of platforms for virtual recruitment including Slate Goodkind and the Ambassador platform.


Qualifications
  • Relevant University Degree.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical skills that with enhance proliferation of our virtual recruitment strategy.
  • Engaging presentation skills and excellent verbal and written skills.
