Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Demonstrate an ability to take on a multi-faceted role leading and managing an Investor Relations team in the areas of client relationship management team management and client reporting.
- Coach develop and provide direction of IR teams while creating an environment that motivates rewards and supports the team
- Conduct performance appraisals for team members
- Assist with succession planning and resource management and that includes participating in interviews and the selection process of new team members
- Communicate Citcos organizational vision and goals to teams in addition to reviewing department goals within IR
- Proven track record of being dedicated to servicing a group of high profile Alternative Investment Funds
- Ensure a high level of service to both clients and investors including providing guidance to Account Managers and acting as an escalation point
- Responsible for the effectiveness of client teams by ensuring deadlines are adhered to and procedures are followed to mitigate against risk
- Oversee the teams day-to-day tasks are processed accurately and in a timely and efficient manner
- Support the team to ensure projects are planned coordinated and seen through to completion
- Encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and escalated where appropriate
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and to remain apprised of regulations that affect IR
- Propose and develop department-wide operational improvements in consultation with the other VPs in IR
- Collaborate within and across departments on client deliverables and strategic initiatives
- Participate in IR initiatives to maintain Citcos pre-eminent position in the marketplace
- Assist auditors and other fund participants
- Attend training in any of Citcos global offices
Qualifications
About You:
- You have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or comparable Investor Relations and Finance experience.
- 5 - 7 years experience in the Hedge Fund industry preferably in Investor Relations and/ or Client Service with some exposure to accounting and performance reporting
- Minimum 2 years experience successfully managing teams
- Proven client relationship skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
