Hours and Work Location
  • Location: Edmonton AB
  • Hours of Work: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Total Compensation
  • Annual Salary: $55000.00 to $60000.00
  • Bonuses: Annually

About the Role

Join AkzoNobels MPY (Marine Protective & Yacht Coatings) team in Edmonton Alberta as a Customer Service Representative! In this key role you will support both internal and external customers and play at the heart of our order fulfillment process helping us deliver innovative coating solutions to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Accurately process customer orders send confirmations communicate delays and collaborate with manufacturing purchasing logistics and sales teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints claims and questions efficiently and professionally.
  • Customer Support: Handle inquiries from internal and external customers via phone email or in person.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain customer records update pricing track short payments generate reports and forward sales leads.
  • Sales Support: Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) and quote responses and convert inbound prospect calls into sales opportunities.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 35 years in customer service or sales support preferably in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
  • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel Word); Experience with AI is an asset. SAP experience is an strong asset.
  • Organization: Proven ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
  • Relationship Building: Friendly proactive and skilled at building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
