Job Summary
Midland Transport Limitedis currently seekingprofessional Class 1 Linehaul Truck Driver.The Driver can be based out of Concord Cambridge and Brampton Ontario.
As a Linehaul Driver youll run longhaul routes from Ontario U.S. Eastern Seaboard and through the Maritimes back through Ontario/Quebec. while consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards.
Schedule: Run starts Saturday takes around five days to complete.

Canadian miles: $0.620 per mile.
USA miles paid in CAD: $0.647 per mile.

Responsibilities
Running Linehaul between the Maritimes United States eastern seaboard and Ontario/Quebec.
Deliver freight to assigned locationsensuring timely delivery.
Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
Perform pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
Report any incident accident injury or damage in a timely manner.
Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States including New York and New Jersey.
Qualifications
Education Required: High School or GED.
Class1 drivers license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
Clean drivers abstract and criminal search.
Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
Eligibility to cross the border with US.
Familiarity with satellite systems.
Excellent communication skills work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
Safety conscious.
Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days Evenings Nights Weekends
