US Corporate Tax Waterloo Manager

The opportunity

As a US Tax Manager in EYs U.S. Tax Practice youll lead and supervise complex tax engagements delivering highquality compliance services and innovative tax planning for multinational clients across public and private sectors. Based in Waterloo or Toronto youll work closely with EYs national U.S. Tax platform and collaborate with professionals across Canada and the United States.

Youll analyze and resolve complex U.S. and crossborder tax issues develop practical and creative solutions and guide the preparation and review of corporate and partnership tax returns for clients with international operations.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and manage U.S. federal and state tax compliance engagements for multinational and Canadianbased clients
• Review U.S. corporate and partnership tax returns and supporting documentation
• Conduct technical research and draft U.S. tax memoranda
• Advise on crossborder matters including inbound and outbound U.S. tax issues
• Supervise coach and develop team members across Toronto Waterloo and national engagement teams
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to a collaborative highperforming culture

To qualify for the role you must have

• Undergraduate degree in accounting finance or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of U.S. tax experience including handson compliance and review responsibilities
• A US CPA designation
• Experience managing and developing junior professionals

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity education relevant experience knowledge and applicable skill sets.

• Toronto: $92000 to $138000
• Waterloo/London: $87000 to $131000
