Job Duties:

• Extract transform and analyze Distributed Energy Resource Management System datasets in Microsoft Excel from Virtual Power Plant operations
• Analyze market penetration and equipment adoption trends to inform business cases.
• Analyze customer interaction records to identify and address customer pain points.
• Communicate insights in PowerPoint or other formats with clear data visualization to convey complex concepts
• Write reports and prepare presentations for internal briefings and external knowledge sharing
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and vendors e.g. preparing meeting materials and actioning next steps
• May perform additional duties upon request

Selection Criteria:

• 3rd/4th year or in a university masters program in Math Computer Science Economics Business Earth and Social Sciences Environmental Studies or Public Policy.
• Excellent data analysis (especially using Microsoft Excel) research and problem-solving skills
• English fluency and comfort with report writing
• Experience in/knowledge of the Electricity Industry (Utilities Renewables Conservation Demand Response etc.) is preferred
• Strong communication interpersonal and collaboration skills

Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made in cases where students require a work term in order to graduate.
