Whats the role
The Turnaround Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for developing maintaining and controlling the integrated turnaround schedule to ensure all activities are logically sequenced resourcealigned and executable within the approved outage window. The role provides schedule visibility critical path control and scenario analysis to support safe efficient and predictable turnaround execution.
What youll be doing
Schedule Development & Control
- Develop and maintain the fully logiclinked resourceloaded turnaround schedule
- Integrate all approved scope work packages and project activities into the master schedule
- Establish schedule milestones phase gates and schedule freeze points
- Ensure schedule alignment with turnaround execution strategy and constraints
- Audit turnaround planners input into Primavera P6 e.g. codes resources wbs cbs etc.
- Provide Primavera export data to Controls team
- Integrated logic driven turnaround schedules
- Critical path and schedule risk analyses
- Daily weekly and milestone progress reports
- Schedule recovery plans and scenario analyses
Critical Path & Risk Management
- Identify and manage critical path and nearcritical path activities
- Perform schedule risk analysis logic reviews and sensitivity studies
- Highlight schedule threats float erosion and recovery opportunities
- Support contingency and mitigation planning
- Perform Schedule Mechanics Checks with SEAM
Progress Measurement & Reporting
- Establish progress measurement rules and update methodologies
- Collect validate and update schedule progress during execution
- Produce schedule reports dashboards and lookahead schedules
- Communicate schedule status variances and forecast completion
Integration & Coordination
- Coordinate with turnaround planners to ensure accurate activity logic and durations
- Align schedule with contractor plans execution sequencing and field realities
- Interface with cost control and readiness teams
- Support management decisionmaking through schedule scenarios and options
Change & Replanning
- Incorporate approved scope changes into the working and baseline schedules
- Resequence and recover schedules in response to emergent or discovered work
- Maintain schedule integrity and version control
PostTurnaround & Continuous Improvement
- Support postturnaround schedule analysis and lessons learned
- Capture schedule performance metrics for future estimating and planning
- Improve scheduling standards templates and best practices
What you bring
- The candidate must have legal authorization to work in the Canada on a full-time basis
- Bachelors degree or 3 or more years of relevant industry experience
- Strong expertise in turnaround and shutdown scheduling principles
- Advanced proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6; MS Project secondary)
- Deep understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling
- Ability to challenge logic durations and execution sequencing
- Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to perform under high pressure and tight deadlines

What we offer
The base salary range for this position is $110000 - $160000 per year. Individual pay will be based onvarious factors such as relevant work experience education certifications skill level seniority and internal equity.
