This position is based in our Martensville Saskatchewan production facility.

The ideal candidates responsibilities will be:

To work under the direction of a supervisor to set up the workstation for each order.

To assemble trusses in accordance with Company policies & procedures health and safety and Standard Operating Procedures

To regularly inspect and review the condition of the equipment; the quality of the materials being used; and the quality of the work being performed/completed and advises the supervisor of any concerns

To maintain a clean workstation throughout the shift in addition to a final clean up shortly before the end of the shift

To be responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe correct and careful manner (as trained and instructed)

To be actively participate in daily meetings and offering suggestions for continuous improvement for processes production and people.

To complete other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

Woodworking and/or construction experience

Demonstrated the ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure in the foot-inch-sixteenth method.

Demonstrated the ability to read understand and comply with work orders.

The ability to work independently and cooperatively in supportive of the team

The ability to be detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and safety

The ability to prioritize and work productively as a member of the team

Demonstrate the ability to learn and develop new skills

Strong organizational and communication skills.
