TRUCK DRIVER (Class 3Q or Class 1)

Truck Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and unloading building materials on commercial and residential building sites according to customer specifications.

Duties:

• Load/unload building materials onto construction sites
• Verify accuracy of load
• Operate and drive tridem axle truck to transport goods and materials
• Performe pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information hours of service distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

• Valid Class 3Q or 1 licence
• Clean drivers abstract
• Ability to lift 100 lbs
• Ability to work at heights (residential rooftop deliveries)
• Must be able to read write speak and understand English
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Satisfactory criminal background check
