OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Training & Development Managerthe Training Coordinator is responsible planning scheduling and coordinatingtraining programs. The Training Coordinator will work closely with the Trainerto ensure employees are receiving the best training to enhance their skills andperformance.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and scheduleemployee training sessions workshops and seminars.
Maintain training calendarsand communicate schedules to participants.
Assist in identifyingorganization training needs.
Prepare training materialspresentations and other learning materials.
Arrange training venuesequipment and logistics.
Track employeeparticipation and training completion records.
Manage and update traininglog for all employees.
Assist with trackingtraining budget and expenses.
Gather feedback fromparticipants to evaluate training effectiveness.
Generate reports ontraining when required.
Travel to community as operationally required.
Support onboarding andorientation programs for new employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
M1-2 years training experience.
- Experience in coordinating training events and workshops.
- Experience in maintaining training records and reports.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Problem solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Evaluation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of virtual meeting and training platforms i.e. Teams or Zoom.
- Required to work flexible hours and ability to travel as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrate knowledge and/or understanding of Indigenous perspectives First Nations culture and traditional philosophies.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office MS Word Spreadsheets (Excel) PowerPoint E-mail (Outlook) and Internet.
- Must provide clear criminal records check adult and child abuse checks.
