Tool Room Attendant

Basic Functions:

• Track and control tooling costs and repairs on a bi-weekly basis
• Signing tools in and out
• Maintaining tracking sheets of company issued tools to employees
• Day to day repair of small tools and equipment
• Coordination of shipping of tools for repair and calibration
• Working with the Service Operations Manager to coordinate tool replacement additions and repair cost options

Qualifications:

• Completion of grade 12 and be mechanically inclined coupled with tool repair and/or tool maintenance and purchasing experience
• Self-starter able to follow directions work well with others and has the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a safe team environment
• Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Previous building maintenance and shipping/receiving experience will be considered assets
• Computer experience coupled with DBS and SIS will also be considered assets
