Job Summary
Alta Material Handling is seeking a full-timeTerritory Sales Representative for the Quebec region. The Territory Sales Manager has a crucial role of driving sales growth and expanding the companys market presence within your assigned territory. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of but are not limited to:Key ResponsibilitiesSales DevelopmentAs a Sales representative you will report directly to the Sales Manager and focus on new sales development and cultivating relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales volume. You will be responsible for achieving company sales targets and objectives by offering a full range of Material Handling ManagementManage all aspects of your assigned territory including cold calling and prospecting for new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service understanding their needs and offering solutions that meet their Forecasting and ReportingProvide regular sales performance reports to management on sales activities market trends and competitor CollaborationCollaborate with internal teams such as marketing product development and customer service to ensure a coordinated approach to sales and customer support within your Training and DevelopmentSelf-improvement and continual training is crucial to sales within your territory ensuring the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively sell companys products or AwarenessMonitor competitor activities and market trends within your territory to identify opportunities and threats. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and tactics as within your territory (min. 3 days/ week) to meet with customers attend trade shows and participate in industry events as ImprovementContinuously seek ways to improve sales performance and efficiency within your territory. This may involve implementing new sales tools or techniques providing feedback to management on product or service offerings and participating in professional development French and English (rerquired)At least three (3) years experience in a similar equipment sales role dealing with business decision makers in the marketVerifiable track record of achieving revenue targetsExperience managing a high volume of accountsA driven hardworking Sales Representative who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and places customers firstExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteA University or College Education preferred but not mandatorySales and Account Management training is an assetStrong analytical skills
