The Hills Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for managing an account base of veterinary clinics within the cities of Aurora Newmarket Keswick Barrie Midland Parry Sound Sudbury Timmins and surrounding areas. This role focuses on driving net sales optimizing product mix and increasing market share and professional endorsement for Hills brands. The TM serves as the primary interface with veterinary professionals positioning Hills as the strategic partner of choice through clinical expertise and business development strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Territory Management: Achieve sales targets by planning and executing high-value calls based on account classification. Maintain accurate records in Hills reporting systems and manage assigned budgets and expenses.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of small animal nutrition Hills product lines and competitor offerings through continuous self-study and company training.
• Clinic Business Development: Build deep networks with key decision-makers and Health Care Teams (HCTs). Provide professional support through detailing technical training and merchandising.
• Strategic Planning: Develop annual joint business plans for key accounts and conduct quarterly business reviews to assess performance against goals.
• Identify Opportunities: Develop technical and business propositions that meet the needs of both Hills and the customer resulting in BRMO leadership and superior 6P execution in clinics.
• Market Execution: Implement commercial activities to ensure:
  • Awareness full distribution and active endorsement by the veterinary profession of Hills products and services in all core disease categories
  • Rapid acceptance endorsement and distribution of new products
  • Establishment of shelf space and adequate inventory within each clinic
• IndustryRepresentation: Represent Hills at trade shows local/national meetings and clinic events while monitoring competitive trends.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with previous sales experience OR a 2-year Associate Degree with Registered Veterinary Tech (RVT) credentials Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Biology Chemistry Nutrition Animal Science or Business Administration.
• DVM degree is highly preferred. 2 years of sales experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical or nutrition industries.
• Licensed DVM or RVT with practice industry or veterinary teaching experience.

Compensation

Salary Range $77400.00 - $90300.00 CAD per year

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to experience education skills and work or office addition to your salary Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc. / Hills Pet Nutrition Canada Inc. offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.

Compensation
Salary Range $77400.00 - $100485.00 CAD per year
