Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring temporary workplace are signed in accordance with provincial requirements
  • Ensuring all equipment required for the day is loaded on the truck prior to departing
  • Interacting with customers in the field to understand scope of work and level of traffic control required
  • Ensuring Traffic Control Persons are following all safety policies in the field
  • Acting as a Traffic Control Person while crew members are on breaks/lunches
  • Performing routine inspections of temporary workplaces

Qualifications :

Training & Requirements:

  • Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
  • Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Steel-to boots
  • Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
  • Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification

    Licence/Certification:

  • Nova Scotia Traffic Control Person Certificate (preferred)
  • Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Signer Certificate (preferred)
  • Nova Scotia Class 5 Drivers license (preferred)
