You are responsible for ensuring accuracy of matched data and thorough research to identify AV repertoire using SOCANs systems in order to maximize royalties and accuracy of payment to our members and foreign affiliates in a timely manner. WHAT YOULL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReview and verification of assigned Worksheets of matched and unmatched usage data received for completeness and accuracyIdentify and link unmatched usage/performances to AV Works (cue sheets) in SOCANs databases Review and verification of matched usage/performances for accuracy of payment and make necessary corrections of any incorrect matched usage Liaising with Queries team as required to resolve complex queries from members and/or foreign societiesProactively advise Team Lead of any potential efficiency and process improvements Other duties as requiredWHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent Computer literacy required: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excel/WordProblem solving and decision makingAbility to work as part of a team and contribute to creating a strong team dynamicExcellent organizational and research skillsAccuracy and detail orientedKnowledge or experience in the Music Industry or Performing Rights is an assetFluent in both English and French an assetAnalyticalResults orientedThoroughEfficientProactiveAdaptability and flexibilityACCESSIBILITY & ACCOMMODATIONSOCAN is committed to providing an inclusive workplace environment that meets the accessibility needs of employees with disabilities.
